Standing Static is the newest comer to an old fight! With the energy and drive of a punk band and the sentiment of an alt rock indie band it's got everything you could want to hear! 

With a wide range of influences from Green Day and MCR to Coldplay and Switchfoot, to The Everly Brothers we have alot to offer and every bit of it is something new you can latch on to!  Standing Static is an Alternative Rock band with an Oldies twist

 

Standing Static was started in early 2014 with the release of its first EP, The Leap of Faith EP. On Dec 4th 2014, Standing Static released its first full length Album, "Songs From the Black Market" at Holiday RAWk 2014, an event put on by the international underground artists organization, RAW Natural Born Artists.

 

Standing Static is a small Austin TX band with big ideas. It's here to lift you up and encourage you when you need it, it's here to energize you, its here to say this far and no further
